According to Amazon.co.uk this series is:

‘For those who like their history brought to life albeit briefly before the axe falls – Bloody Tales of the Tower is a fascinating look at life behind the walls of one of England’s most iconic buildings.’

The second episode ‘Executions’ featured the execution of Lady Jane Grey and the third episode, ‘Scandal!’, featured the escape from the Tower of Arbella Stuart.

Look out for Portrait of the Month

Lady Jane Grey Reference Guide will look at a different portrait of Lady Jane each month. A number of supposed portraits of Jane have been identified over the last few years.

Dr Stephan Edwards has been researching these and other portraits and his findings can be read at his website Some Grey Matter

You can ask him questions about the Portrait of the Month at the Lady Jane Grey Reference Guide Facebook page.

Look out for the first portrait in November.
